Expedition Robinson stays close to home this year
Covid-19 or no Covid-19, Expedition Robinson just goes on. Although it’s not quite like we’re used to and that has of course to do with code orange for the whole world. Nicolette Kluijver and Kaj Gorgels explain how season 21 (!) is going to look.
The recordings will start soon, but RTL hasn’t given an exact date yet. The smart ones, because otherwise the detectives among us will dive like hawks on all Instagram accounts to see who deviates from the usual behavior. The recordings of the new season will therefore not take place on a deserted island this time, but just in our own Europe. Just is Expedition Robinson never, because the challenges remain just as intense as before, only this time there is a bit less chance of tropical storms, monkeys in palm trees, and humidity that leaves you exhausted. Maybe the participants are fitter than ever, because they are fighting for the title in their own habitat. I find this an interesting twist.
RTL does not make any announcements about whether it will be an unknown, known, or mixed season, but that info will surely follow soon. Keep you posted.
