Let’s go with that banana: you want to try these mini chocolate banana pancakes ASAP

mini pancakes
Look, the fact that you now know that cooking with me never takes longer than five to ten minutes and the number of ingredients in most cases can be counted on one hand, does not mean that we are dealing with something of lesser quality. I mean: mini chocolate banaanpancakes, that's a case of next level delicious and you want to taste that as soon as possible. How do you make them? Really easy. Just look here (in 10 seconds, yes really) how to:

Ingredients
for 1-2 people
50 g self-raising flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 egg
50 ml semi-skimmed milk
20 g dark chocolate chips (125 g pack)
2 bananas
15 g butter

How to?
1. Put the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Add the egg and half of the milk and whisk with a whisk until smooth batter. Pour in the rest of the milk and whisk again until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.

2. Cut the bananas into slices of about 1 centimeter.

3. Heat a knob of butter in a large frying pan. Take a slice of banana on a fork, dip it completely in the batter and turn it around a bit so that there is an even layer all over. Let some drip off and then place it in the pan. Make sure there is enough space between the pancakes. Fry for about 4 minutes over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through. Flip halfway. Fry the rest of the mini banana pancakes like this and voilà, they are ready.

4. Divide the pancakes over the plates. Scatter the red currants and raspberries over them and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Tip: also delicious with ½ tsp ground cinnamon, a generous dollop of Nutella, or red fruit to compensate for the chocolate chips.
