Happy couples who are not married

In Hollywood, you can hardly name a couple that has been together their whole life. In ‘certain circles’, it seems normal to say ‘yes’ at least three times. As Cheryl Moreiro said in Gooische Vrouwen: “How many times do you get married in your life? Three, four times?” Yet, the recipe for being truly steady happy seems to be: not getting married. Just look at these couples. The only downside: no hefty alimony at the end of the ride, but then again, that's not what true love is about. The best things in life are free, after all.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
35 years together although ‘monogamy is a tough order’ according to Goldie. But then again, it's not like that ring prevents cheating.

Vin Diesel and Paloma Jiménez
Actor and model, together for more than twenty years and even three children who are both of theirs. Good luck finding that in glamourland.

Oprah and Stedman!
They have been together since 1986 and engaged since 1992, but that's where it ends. According to Oprah, getting married would harm their relationship. “We both have too traditional ideas about marriage and would start behaving accordingly. And I really don't fit into a traditional marriage.”

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes
Is there a couple more attractive than these two people? They have been together for ten years (which is equivalent to a century in Hollywood terms) and also have two daughters together.

John – Jaiden – Corbett and Bo Derek
You know: Jaiden, from Carrie. The boring furniture guy. In real life, they have been together for 18 years and are happy with the much older Bo Derek.

Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias
Again 18 years a game, set, and match, these two.

I must say that I also have quite a few unmarried girlfriends who have been with their partner for a long time, and I myself am also not married. Who knows, that might be the secret. You stay extra alert. In Hollywood, it seems to work that way at least.
