Insiders reveal: Prince Philip found the Oprah interview ‘thoughtless’

This weekend it was announced that Harry would travel to England to say goodbye to his grandfather for the last time. For him grandfather, for us known as Prince Philip. In the statement, we also read that Meghan would not be traveling, due to her pregnancy — it would not be responsible to fly right now.
You would think that the media would let Prince Philip's family mourn in silence... But not at all. The British media, of course, goes on 24/7 and various experts indicate that they have all kinds of inside information. One of them is Gyles Brandreth, the author of Prince Philip's biography. Yes, you would indeed say that he knows all the ins and outs of the royal who passed away last Friday.
And he does, even about very recent events like the Oprah interview. According to him, Prince Philip found that interview a ‘thoughtless’ action by Harry and Meghan, and he was sure that ‘nothing good would come of it.’.
‘I have heard from a very reliable source that Prince Philip found the whole situation ‘crazy.’ And that reaction does not surprise me, because he previously expressed himself similarly about public interviews given by Princess Diana and Prince Charles in the ‘90s,’ Brandreth further explains. ‘He believed that giving an interview in itself is not bad, as long as you don't make it all about yourself.’ Well, that whole interview was of course about Harry and Meghan, and the prince found that ‘thoughtless and unnecessary.’.
Take it with a grain of salt (after all: it comes from the Daily Mail), but something in me says that the whole Harry-Meghan-Royal affair is not over yet.
