Just a bit more about King's Day

It was a King's Day to never forget, but for King Willem-Alexander, it doesn't need to be repeated. Once, if you ask us. Still, there were indeed highlights. Like the outfit change of the princesses and the sneakers of The Streamers.

Royal jewels for Princess Amalia

In Eindhoven, Amalia was spotted for the first time ever wearing family jewels. The royal experts identified the stones as the aquamarines from great-grandmother Juliana. She received them as a gift from her mother-in-law, Princess Armgard, which I find sounds incredibly Game of Thrones. Her mother Máxima wore the jewels during her state visit to India, but with different pendants.

Looking forward to the terrace

Not only are we eagerly waiting for it to be 12:00, our king also enjoys a terrace. “Terraces are not strange to us either,” says Willem-Alexander laughing in the press chat in honor of King's Day. Alexia also indicates that she has missed grabbing a terrace. I briefly saw a worthy successor to Prince Pils here.

The outfit change of the royal family

While the visit to Eindhoven was sponsored by Máxima’s favorite designer Natan, during the performance of The Streamers, the family appeared a bit more casual. I understand that from the princesses, because when you meet Kraantje Pappie and Maan, you just want to do that in sneakers and Zara. Stay tuned, because soon we will go through the outfits of the princesses with you. We can already reveal that Zara is loved.

From The Streamers, you got a craving for the pub

The royal stables were the backdrop for The Streamers. I won't deny that I've already swayed lalalaaaa-end through the living room and opened an extra bottle of white for the occasion. The quality of the streaming could have been just a bit better, given the name, but otherwise, it was a solid ten. I got a craving for the pub and even for throwing beer, even though that's a shame. Oh, and if you, like me, also want those Nikes now, click here. On May 29, The Streamers will return with more. I'm already marking that date in my calendar because what a hit this was.
