Maxime Meiland has given birth

There she is, the long-awaited daughter of Maxime Meiland. After a failed and somewhat ad hoc IVF attempt in France (the Meiland family has read the book ‘Everything for the Ratings’ by emeritus professor of television studies Bert van der Veer very well), there was Leroy the cameraman who at a certain moment crawled out from behind the lens and into the lives of the main characters of our favorite reality show. Suddenly, he was no longer behind, but also in front of the camera. Because one thing always leads to another, Vivé Meiland was born.

Just a few things you probably want to know about that. Just to have a bit more to talk about during your coffee break later.

1.  Vivé is the second child of Maxime and the first child of Leroy.

2.  Because Claire's father (Maxime's first daughter) is completely out of the picture, Leroy is the only ‘dad’ for her, and they can really form a complete family without Claire moving to another family on the weekends. Finally, peace for Maxime, who was a single mother for so many years.

3.  Maxime has, very royally, thrown a bit of sand in our eyes with the due date. People who enjoy a lot of attention do that more often. They say that the baby is still a long way off so that the paparazzi don't lie in the bushes all day and then suddenly come with baby news when you least expect it. Maxime said she was due at the end of September.

4.  Martien Meiland had his phone turned off. He spoke to Erica just before the delivery, but probably couldn't handle the tension himself. “The baby was already halfway out.”

5.  So the baby was already halfway out.

I wish Maxime, Leroy, Claire, and Vivé a very beautiful life.
