Oh yes: Netflix announces three (!) new Christmas movies

Watching Christmas movies

To be honest: I don't really have much for Christmas. I used to be much more nervous about Sinterklaas, I guess that was because I got more presents with that holiday. And of course, it's cozy and there's a lot of food, but secretly I'm most looking forward to watching all the cheesy Christmas movies on the couch. And let Netflix take care of those cheesy Christmas movies, because three new ones have been announced.

That they are cheesy is of course a given. Do we remember The Knight Before Christmas still? With Vanessa Hudgens, who also starred in The Princess Switch, which falls into exactly the same category.

Which falls into exactly that category is number three of The Princess Switch. Seriously, if you thought this story couldn't be milked any further: think again. I'm very curious about what they've made of it now, but it will definitely be a treat.

Number two is Single All The Way with among others Jennifer Coolidge. Peter convinces his best friend Nick to pretend to be his boyfriend during Christmas, so his family stops nagging. Right, à la The Holidate. However, Peter's mother has other plans and arranges a blind date for her son with a handsome personal trainer. And then the drama unfolds.

Number three is A Castle For Christmas with Brooke Shields, who travels to Scotland hoping to buy a small castle. The owner of the castle she has her eye on is not so keen on it, as he doesn't like the idea of selling his castle to someone who is not from the area. In their discussions about this purchase, they initially argue a lot, but eventually they fall in love. By the way, I guess that, but statistically speaking, there is a 0.0 percent chance that I'm wrong.

Just a little more patience, because the first movie will be dropped in mid-November. But that's just a month away. CAN'T WAIT.
