Noise in the tent: MAFS participants are suing the show

Oh no, there's trouble brewing. Financial trouble, at MAFS Australia. And it's about the participants of season 6. In other words, the absolute best season so far. Because it was of course full of juicy events. Infidelity. husband-swapping (poor Mick, I still feel sorry for him — Jess was really his captor), fights, wine-throwing incidents... Well, I thought it was really amazing. The participants themselves, a bit less so, in hindsight.
And now they have gained quite a bit of fame in Australia and you would say that is already a fairly large country, but MAFS Australia is meanwhile taking over the whole world. In England, it is really a mega hit and the United States is now picking up season six. And that doesn't sit well with some cast members, because it also means they have to relive everything all over again.
So yes, that means for Jess that she has to deal with the hate that she receives again. Not to mention the hate that Ines is definitely going to get. But it's not very pleasant for Elizabeth either, since she has undergone a complete makeover since that moment and is almost unrecognizable, and she doesn't have the best memories of Sam. But Mike is also not happy, because he now has a new girlfriend (unfortunately) and is constantly confronted with people asking why he isn't with Heidi. I guess Cyrell also wants to say goodbye to her Cyclone Cyrell phase and there are more people who didn't come out of the recordings very well.
It's understandable that you want to leave it behind; the recordings were in December 2018. And a lot can happen in over two years, so having the whole world go through phases over you seems quite unrelaxed. Season six ended last week, and in America, it's still in full swing. In other words, the hate from England is now pouring down, and in a while, they can prepare for round three from the US.
Many participants are therefore completely fed up and believe that they now have to endure psychological trauma again. That's why several participants from season 6 are preparing a mega lawsuit, in which they will ask for compensation, under the motto ‘enough is enough’. Which participants it concerns is not yet disclosed, but Endemol Shine (yes, from ‘our’ John de Mol) can prepare for a pretty tough trial.
