Stars massively support Britney Spears

If you haven't seen the documentary Framing Britney Spears yet, I can only say: watch it. There's a good chance Justin Timberlake might get a bit ruined for you, but hey, there are worse things in the world. For example, how bizarre the things are that the singer had to go through and still has to go through. For every cent she wants to spend, she needs permission from her father Jamie. Who, by the way, can also manage her entire agenda and sign work contracts on her behalf. It. Is. So. Twisted.
The documentary has not gone unnoticed in Hollywood either. Many stars express their support on social media. The #FreeBritney movement is bigger than ever and I hope that this means the end of her father's conservatorship.

the Framing Britney Spears doc holy fuck.
no artist today would have to endure the literal torture that media/society/utter misogynists inflicted upon her.
the mental health awareness conversation, culturally, could never be where it is without the awful price she has paid.— hayley from Paramore ? (@yelyahwilliams) February 6, 2021

Britney Spears’ music was my first exposure to POP music. Her impact was/is profound and it always baffled me as to why people were so brutal to her when she was down. It’s great the world is more sensitive to mental health now, but upsetting it took this long in Britney’s case.

Framing Britney was a rough watch, much like the Winehouse documentary, only we know how that story ended. I hope Britney is freed of that conservatorship– “liberated” as she says in her own words. It is baffling that any judge would continue to uphold it. #FreeBritney
