I think September is a bit like the new August, because everyone around me is only going on vacation this month. I just get jealous when I hear the destination of most friends, because that is: Ibiza. Of course, I immediately recommended this six-star hotel, because it is so nice there. If you go to W Ibiza hotel – you want to, believe me – make sure to reserve at the Glow WET Deck. There you can float during the day in the adults-only infinity pool with a view of the boulevard and the sea, where it is usually quite calm and you can lie very relaxed on those thick soft cushions. And what I really find a plus: the staff doesn’t ask every half hour if you want something to drink or eat, no, they leave you alone and if you want something, they are right by your sunbed. In the evening, of course, you put on your nicest outfit to sip cocktails at the bar, and sushi lovers take note: at the bar they also make the freshest sushi right in front of you and it is delicious, unbelievable. The tuna pizza is also one you should order if you like fish. Side note: the sushi rolls are not small, so we had more than enough with three different kinds and also the pizza. Do save some room for dessert mochi balls in three different flavors: matcha, raspberry, and chocolate. I’m curious which one you like best, because my mom, the friendly bartender, and I each chose a different one. Will you send me a jealous-making photo when you’re there?

Psst: if you are near Santa Catalina, go have a nice lunch at Ve Café. I have been there twice and have tasted almost everything on the menu. They prepare everything fresh for you with products from a local farmer and you can taste that immediately. The menu is vegan, which I really love for lunch, because then you feel nicely filled but it doesn’t feel heavy in your stomach. You must order the sweet potato, but also the fresh tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella on a pita, mmm. If you order a coffee: they serve it with ‘normal’ milk, but if you prefer something else, they have everything you could want.
