Hartendief vintage MaxMara jackets Levi's Jeans chanel hangers

A number of my girlfriends are stars at finding vintage gems for their home, but also for their wardrobe. Sometimes the tag is still attached, and I always find that so bizarre but also very good, because that way the garment gets a nice second chance.

My cousin is seriously the best at this and she started a vintage store in Leiden twenty years ago. For example, she sells the coolest 501 Levi’s jeans, the kind without stretch and in the most beautiful washes. But she also has original Max Mara’s in different models and colors. She sources them from everywhere and most are as good as new: almost unworn and then at a nice price. How good does that sound?

This coming Sunday the coat season starts again and if you want to score such a gem, it’s wise to be at the door of Hartendief at 1:00 PM, because they fly out the door every year. And I get that, because everyone wants that long Icon Camel, that dark blue one or preferably that classic black or just the bright red? Also check the other racks right away, because you might find a real Chanel blouse there. If you’re still looking for a gift for yourself, ask about the m.o.o.b hangers, original Chanel buttons that have been handmade into hangers for a necklace, earring, or bracelet. Hartendief at Breestraat 171 in Leiden is where you need to be on Sunday. Send her all my love?
