The 14 types of sex that we all have (or have had)

Sex is always a little different each time and that's a good thing. Always having the same sandwich can get boring, right? So even if you have sex time and again with the same partner, it's usually not the same story.

Sometimes it goes quickly, sometimes you take your time. There seem to be about 14 types of sex and yes, we’ve all had them at some point.

A quickie
Just a quickie: you’re in the mood, the other person is in the mood. But there’s no time. Just a quick one without too much foreplay, because it feels so naughty when you have to rush. When you actually don’t have time but still feel lust.

Vacation sex
Oh so nice. You’re tanned, sunny, rosy from the rosé and relaxed. You’re rested and suddenly at 4 PM after lunch you both feel like a quickie. And then it can happen. All afternoon long. That’s what vacation is for, right? Making up for everything you don’t have time for in daily life.

Morning sex
Exactly, we all know that one. Waking up and diving on each other out of horniness. The day starts off with a bang.

One night stand sex
We’ve all had that at least once. There was drink, lust, passion and boom, you were in bed with the other person. In the morning with a hangover and a walk of shame to your own safe bed – never to be repeated. A real one-time thing.

Drunken sex
Now that we’re on the subject: it’s nice to let yourself go completely when you end up in bed together half-drunk. Or in the shower. Or in the kitchen.

Sneaky sex
You do it in a public place, shhh. You do it with someone with whom it actually wasn’t the intention … Shhh.

Sex in all positions
If you have plenty of time, nothing is a better idea than trying out new positions. Upside down, oral sex, teasing each other and delaying orgasms… One in the category: take your time for it every now and then. In a hotel room, when the kids are away: just do it.

Sex with your ex
Always nice, not always wise.

Break-up sex
You’re breaking up or you’ve just broken up, but try to ignore that extreme tension between you. The chemistry is explosive and the sex itself is oh so good. Better than ever, even.

Phone sex
Sometimes that has to happen, especially when you’re head over heels in love and you’re not together… Before you know it, you’re tangled up in naughty texts and exciting words.

Make-up sex
After a big fight with your lover, there’s often only one thing left to really clear the air. Sex. Preferably a few times, so you find each other nice and fun again.

Cheating sex
It shouldn’t happen, it’s hard to justify, but still many do it at least once in their life. You hook up with someone else and it’s oh so naughty, but it’s an adventure.

Baby-making sex
Just on the clock. Yeah sorry, not much romantic about it… But if you want to make a baby it’s just a matter of good timing during that time of the month.

Sleep sex
Just before you fall asleep, being intimate for a moment. Wonderful, you dream even better afterwards, after such an orgasm.
