Balenciaga turns a Lay's chip bag into a bizarrely expensive bag
Yep, you read that right: Balenciaga did it again. Half a year ago, I already wrote that I strongly suspect that they are mainly focused on seeing how far they can go: what is the limit at which people really won't buy their items anymore? Since then, particularly expensive worn-out shoes have come out of their pipeline (I have the same pair for you, free to pick up, I call this design (‘Lowlands 2022’), and then a garbage bag bag for almost 1800 dollars. I have that for you too, but you can get it yourself at the nearest supermarket. Balenciaga is still hanging around in the bag corner, because they have another new item where you can put things in.
I can't describe it better than that, because where they first brought a garbage bag to the market, it is now... Literally garbage? And not even their own design, which a garbage bag and worn-out shoes aren't necessarily either. But well, perhaps this is something for the true enthusiasts: a Lay's chip bag, with Balenciaga on it, as a bag. This item was part of their fashion show The Mud Show, for the summer of 2023.

And that will cost you, just like the garbage bag, a mere 1800 dollars. They come in cheese onion flavors (although the color yellow in America is the ‘Classic’), salt and vinegar, and flaming hot. And for that 1800 dollars, you do get a zipper. Phew. I was a bit afraid it would be a waste of my money...
