Oh yes: Coldplay is likely coming to the Johan Cruijff ArenA

The chance is very high that we will be treated to a show by Coldplay in Amsterdam next year: in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. They hint at this in their new music video Humankind, which was launched last night. In the very first seconds of the music video, various hints for their new tour appear. We also see Zurich and Copenhagen flash by, but also Amsterdam.
That the location will be the Johan Cruijff ArenA is a bit harder to decipher, but let the fans handle that. Coldplay has come up with their own secret language for their new album, and the diehard fans have of course already figured it all out. They were able to decipher that the concert will be in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
We will have to wait a little longer, as they are currently still touring the United Kingdom. However, these new dates will be announced quickly according to the band.
What I really find unfortunate (yep, I want to complain about this for a moment) is that the sound in the ArenA is just so unbelievably bad that I wouldn't go there for a concert. Unless it's of course Taylor Swift or someone else I really want to see. I understand the trade-off: the ArenA can hold a maximum of 71,000 visitors, while something like the Ziggo Dome can only hold 17,000. The sound in the Ziggo Dome is so much better, and all acts come across so much better there that I really find it a shame. So if Coldplay decides to sell out the Ziggo four times, I would be completely happy.
