Kanye West buries Pete Davidson in new music video

So, that's quite a headline I never thought I would write. But with Kanye West, you never know, he's full of surprises. Although I (and the rest of the world) had good hopes that he would have landed in calmer waters by now. Yesterday, there was a hearing in which it was decided that both Kim and Kanye are officially single again, and this afternoon it became clear that the divorce has also gone through. Kim can now live her life without ‘West‘ in her last name, which she has wanted for a while. Kanye seemed to be obstructing this hearing for a long time, but his lawyers stated yesterday that they support it and let Kim go on living as a single person.

So, a happy ending after all? Nah. Absolutely not, in fact, because Kanye just dropped his music video for the song Eazy and to be honest, it's just downright scary. It's primarily an animated music video in which someone is buried in a coffin. That person first gets a rope around them, then they are buried alive with a bag over their head. And that person is Pete Davidson. Seriously, what the actual fuck?

Aside from the fact that I really think it's a terrible song (but that's of course personal taste), can this music video really not be more extreme? At the end of the clip, there’s a disclaimer that everyone ‘lives happily ever after’ except for ‘Skete’ (that's what Kanye calls Pete every time), followed by: ‘Jk he’s fine’.

So far, Pete has not publicly reacted anywhere, but I wonder how long that will last. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he takes some legal steps towards Kanye now. It would be just like a music video to be made about you while you haven't really done anything.
