Kanye West demands apologies from Billie Eilish for something she didn't do
Another day, another drama. At least when it comes to Kanye West, because he managed to find the Instagram app again. By now, I'm almost convinced that he just has a bowl full of celebrity names and randomly picks one to get angry about. Today it's Billie Eilish's turn. And now Kanye wants an apology from her. Even though she has done absolutely nothing. If he doesn't get an apology, he won't perform at Coachella.
Sounds pretty incomprehensible, and it is, but I'll try to explain it. Billie Eilish gave a concert, and during her show, she saw a fan who was having a hard time. The fan in question was having trouble breathing, so she stopped her concert to allow the fan to be given an inhaler. All's well that ends well: the show continued and the fan could breathe easily again.
And that's what Kanye indeed wants an apology for now. How dare she, right? The audacity. Because ex-or-still-maybe-her-boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, didn't do that during his festival in Astroworld. Ten people died during or after Astroworld due to crowd crush and suffocation. Travis Scott now has quite a few lawsuits hanging over his head, as he is the ultimate responsible person for this festival.
What do these two things have to do with each other? Very little, you would think. But leave it to TMZ to make the connection, with their headline that Billie Eilish ‘threw shade at Travis Scott’. Because she did stop a concert for the safety of a fan, but didn't mention Travis's name at all.
That was also her response to the post below from Kanye: ‘Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan’.
Now I wonder the most if Kanye is really going to take Travis Scott on stage at Coachella. Travis was initially the headliner there, but was canceled by the organization due to the whole Astroworld drama. I can't imagine they are waiting for him to storm the stage at Coachella.
Well, we'll see. Who will Kanye be angry with tomorrow?
