Where is Simon Leviev now?

Have you already watched The Tinder Swindler? If not: do it. It lasts almost two hours but what an awesome documentary this is, I must say. From start to finish, I was captivated by the women who — pardon my French — were completely screwed over by this Simon Leviev. At least that's what he calls himself, because his real name is Shimon Hayut. That last name was chosen because of the owners of LDD Diamonds, where he supposedly was the son of. The diamond king. Well, there was absolutely nothing true about that.
Warning: spoilers if you haven't seen The Tinder Swindler yet. At the end, we saw that Simon was arrested and thrown into an Israeli prison. Just right, right? Unfortunately, he was released after five months (he received a sentence of fifteen months) for good behavior and has been a free man in Israel to this day.

But after his release, he would have learned from his tricks. Right? Nah. He is back posting photos of himself on luxury yachts and jets on Instagram. The Netflix documentary seems to do very little for him. His last photo may be from October, but he regularly posts Stories of his luxurious life. I wonder: how on earth does he have money now?
Maybe from his girlfriend, because yes: he is in a relationship. According to rumors, he has hooked up with an Israeli model. Who it is remains unknown for now, but seriously: why would you want to be in a relationship with such a guy? I really can't wrap my head around that. What I also don't understand is why this man's followers are skyrocketing: yesterday he had 153K, now he's already above 200K. Are a lot of girls sliding into his DMs too?

Meanwhile, the defrauded women are still paying off their debts, while Simon is living his best life again. He also had a website for his ‘business’, but that is currently offline. He gave people advice on doing business (oh, the irony) for about $300 per session. Bargain.
And is he back on Tinder? According to Tinder, no, at least: ‘He is not on the app with the names known to us.’ My guess is that he has just assumed a new alter ego. Will there perhaps be a part two on Netflix in a few years? Let's hope not.
