In the mood for a city trip?

May laughing in Italy in a long summer dress

The CoronaCheck app can go back into the corner of unused apps and you can fold a patchwork blanket from your face masks. Spring is in the air, so the red carpet is rolled out for a long and warm season full of fun trips. If you can't wait for the summer vacation, a city trip is the perfect ‘treat’. If you go to these cities, you have the best chance of sunshine, because these are the winners when it comes to collecting the most hours of sunshine.

1. Valencia
343 hours of sunshine. Amayzine has been there often and we are happy to share our tips here.

2. Nice
It was close, but Nice could have been at the top with 342 hours of sunshine per year. Direct flight and you are on the Côte, with your snout in the sun.

3. Las Palmas
It's only a small difference, really, between one city and another. Las Palmas has 341 hours of sunshine per year, so we can do that too.

4. Granada
Oh, how I found Granada stunningly beautiful. The entire southern Spanish coast is a feast. From Granada to Cordoba to Sevilla and Malaga, it's so travelable. How many hours of sunshine do they count here? Also 341 hours.

5. Palermo
With 340 hours of sunshine, Palermo closes the list. How wonderful to fly to Sicily for a bit and roll around in the culture.
