Disappointing news about B&B Full of Love

Nowadays, I don't find Monday so bad anymore, because a new week also means new episodes of B&B Full of Love. And I'm totally into it. I really roll from one surprise to another, from Mount Joy to Walter's floating paradise. And what I like about this program is that these are people who genuinely participate for love. No Love Island or Temptation practices where people ultimately just want followers (except maybe Joy), no: real people who just long for a nice relationship.

But unfortunately, there is now a bit of a stain on that. Last week, they mentioned on RTL Boulevard that the participants are not allowed to fully choose who comes to visit them. In a way, that's logical, because there are probably a huge number of applications, but on the other hand: it's about their love life, so shouldn't they go through all those applications with all their love?

No, apparently not. On RTL Boulevard, they said that there is a full editorial team behind it that screens all applications, and then only a small number remains from which the participants can choose. How lame is that? Maybe the perfect man for Marian is among the rejects, because the casting directors didn't see a ratings hit in them. Because yes: ultimately, a TV program has to score, of course.

In the Facebook group of B&B Full of Love, the members are also quite outraged, although for many it wasn't even a surprise. One member also points out that she has been registered with a casting agency for years and was called earlier this year to see if she wanted to go to Thailand for Martijn. Does that mean he received too few applications or that there were simply too few people among them who would make good TV?

Of course, I remain loyal and addicted to watching every day, but this is a bit of a disappointment for this wonderful program. I just hope they can still search through all the applications if they don't find love. You never know.
