See: the first images of Mocro Maffia: Tatta

To be completely honest, I had almost forgotten about this series — it feels like it has been years since we could enjoy new episodes of Mocro Maffia. But in the meantime, there are already four seasons online that I now have to catch up on. Because the movie Mocro Maffia: Tatta is coming, and the first images have just been released. And yes: it looks as good as ever.

Need a little refresher? I totally get it. This trailer revolves around Tatta, who wants to flee after the incident with the Pope. Tatta and his group tried to kidnap his sister Samira, which ultimately went quite wrong. And what I can still remember from the first three seasons is that you’d rather not have a fight with the Pope, so it makes perfect sense that Tatta would rather run away. And that’s exactly what he’s going to do; leave with his family and completely out of the criminal world.

But not before he has his own Grande Finale; he wants to make one last strike. Seems to me like asking for trouble, and that’s going to go completely wrong. In this attack, all the money of Tatta and co. goes up in flames. Quite inconvenient, especially when you just decided to build a quiet life with all that black, criminal money.

In short: Tatta needs money. And he knows that the Pope has money. So his quiet family life in the countryside is being postponed to the long term, because first they have a new, important plan: to rip off the Pope.

That can only go wrong. From the first images, we don’t get much in terms of storyline, except that there’s plenty of spectacle, fire, violence, guns, and fights. Exactly what we expect from Mocro Maffia.

And, mark April 28 in your calendar, because then we can finally watch it.
