Old school garlic bread

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: old school garlic bread.
Bread, garlic, and butter are definitely three of our favorite food groups. Put them all together, throw them in the oven, and you have the perfect old school snack.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 loaf
- 75 grams of butter, at room temperature
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- large handful of parsley
- salt and pepper
With this recipe, you make a delicious basic garlic bread. If you want to go the extra mile, you can add some cheese pieces in between and maybe a slice of bacon. Prosciutto and sage is also a good combination.
HOW TO MAKE GARLIC BREAD
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Use a baguette or a nice French country bread. Cut the bread, but not all the way through. Depending on what kind of bread you have, you can do this in slices (baguette) or cubes (a wider bread).
2. Mix the rest of the ingredients into a herb butter. Spread the butter between the cuts of the bread, this is easiest with the back of a teaspoon. If you are using any extra ingredients, this is also the moment to put them between the bread. Wrap the bread completely in aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove it from the foil and bake for another 10 minutes (this ensures that the bread does not burn).
