There are hundreds of different sex positions to try. Maybe even more, by the way; you can at least keep going for a while if you want to go through them all. Yet few people do that, as research shows that couples often stick to their favorite position.

According to research, it is not the missionary position, but what is striking is that it is the same position for both men and women. And the winner is... Doggy style. To be completely honest, that didn't really come as a surprise to me, as I often hear this one come out on top — for both men and women.

The ancient missionary position ended up in second place. The top three is rounded off with cowgirl/cowboy. This same position but in reverse also turns out to be very popular and is in the top ten, just like position 69 and ‘regular’ oral sex.

And why is doggy style so popular? According to 35 percent of respondents, they found it the most enjoyable because you can penetrate deeper and the chance is greater that the woman also reaches orgasm through penetration.
