5x how to recognize smart people
Is it because of your messy handwriting?

I actually wanted to write that people with messy handwriting are smarter, because I saw that on the unparalleled TikTok. Then it turned out first that Wieke has already written about this and secondly, this theory is also often debunked. Luckily, because I have, sorry for the self-love, quite a nice handwriting. Not always legible, but nice. But there are 5 clear characteristics by which you can recognize smart people, and they are as follows.
They listen
I often get distracted when people tell something. As in: I sometimes drift off or think about what I want to say next to jump in on what was just said. The smart person is completely in the moment, fully focused on what is being said, and only then starts talking.
They are eager to learn
Those brains keep moving. Even when they Love Is Blinwatching, they will want to attach a larger theory to it and want to understand the behavior of participants on a larger scale. Einstein kept busy until his last breath trying to capture the universe in a theory.
They correct themselves
Smart people will not always cling to their own viewpoints at all costs. They will continue to ask themselves critical questions to be sure that their theory is correct. So you can somewhat assume that people who shout things very loudly and firmly and do not allow for a rebuttal are not very intelligent. Donald Trump, are you following along?
They focus on the message
They do not care how the message is packaged. For many people, the visual carrier is important and information must be presented nice and short and crispy, because otherwise most people have already tuned out. For the truly smart person, that does not matter at all. You have their attention.
They challenge themselves
They will always remain critical of their own theories and will refute them if necessary. They will gladly jump over their own shadow if it is in the name of science.
