These are all Harlan Coben series on Netflix

Harlan Coben is HOT. There's a good chance that many people had never heard of this man last month, but now I think we are all fans. And not even because of what he is known for (his books), but mainly because of the adaptations on Netflix. Because yes, Fool Me Once is a huge hit. So big, in fact, that Netflix decided to adapt two more books by Harlan Coben this year. A nice prospect, but did you know that there are already quite a few series of his on the streaming service? So if you have already binged Fool Me Once and are ready for another series like it, you can still check these out. Harlan Coben is also known as the king of plot twists, so you can definitely expect that in these series. Love it.
Safe
The teenage daughter of Tom Delany, a surgeon whose wife has passed away, goes missing. In his quest to bring her home safely, he uncovers more and more secrets about the people around him: who can he trust and who can't he? Who knows more about his daughter and who is keeping things from him?
The Stranger
Yeah, this one is also great, although I must say: many of Coben's stories have a bit of the same approach. In The Stranger, Adam Price seems to be leading the perfect life until he is approached by a stranger in a bar and his wife goes missing shortly after. Yep, disappearances abound in Coben's detective stories, but this one is also a delightful watch and has a twist you don't see coming.
Stay Close
I found this one amazing, even though the ending wasn't necessarily strong — you absolutely do not see it coming. What a mindf*ck that was, I can say that. If you haven't seen this yet: watch it, because you don't know what you're in for. Of course, there's also a disappearance here, but this time it's a boy that main character Megan Pierce doesn't know, even though she gets involved. Sounds vague, but trust me: just watch it.
Hold Tight
Well, you'll never guess, but in this series, a boy suddenly goes missing from a quiet neighborhood where nothing ever happens. What's surprising is that this series is set in Warsaw (the other series take place in England). The parents of the missing teenager Adam want their son home safely, but during their search, they get caught up in bizarre situations.
The Innocent
Bizarre: this is NOT about a disappearance, but about a murder. Mateo committed that (unintentionally, it was an accident) and thought he could get away with it for nine years. But then he gets a phone call that changes his life and turns his relationship with his wife Olivia upside down. This series is originally called El Inocente and is best watched in Spanish (if you hate dubbing as much as I do).
Gone for Good
You can better watch this one in French, as that is the original language; the title is Disparu à jamais. The series came out in 2021 and is really a recommendation, as this story is — fortunately — very different from Coben's other stories. Gone for Good revolves around Guillame, who has seen two people he loved very much die. Ten years later, he thinks he has finally processed this trauma, but then his great love Judith (okay, another disappearance) disappears during his mother's funeral and everything seems to be more connected than he thought.
The Woods
Just like Hold Tight, this is a Polish production and, you guessed it, someone is indeed missing again. A while ago; Pawel's sister disappeared 25 years ago, but he is confronted with that again when a body is found. This series is wonderfully grim, full of twists; one of my favorites from this list.
