Forget your zodiac sign

Your birth number says everything about you

Recently I wrote about the influence your house number has on you. In numerology, people believe in the meaning of numbers, as did the ancient Greeks and Pythagoras. I can also imagine that you don't believe in it, but calculating your birth number and the associated meaning is always a fun activity during drinks or first dates.

This is how it works
First, you calculate your birth number. You do this by adding all the digits of your birth date linearly together.
I was born on 23-12-1972, so my sum is as follows:
Step 1: 2+3+1+2+1+9+7+2=27
Step 2: 2+7=9

So my birth number is 9. That means I am a giver. I find it incredibly funny because initially, I calculated that I was an 8 (math is not my strong suit) and 8 stands for successful. I thought that suited me very well. I am a Capricorn, and they are known for their goal-orientedness, hard work, and ambition, so I thought this label fit the whole. But I am indeed a giver, a 9. Nines are versatile, as I read on the site of Happinez. They have endless patience and focus on harmony and unconditional giving. Developing assertiveness to make choices are themes for the giver. Well, I don't recognize myself in this at all, but I do find the label ‘giver’ a lot friendlier than successful. Maybe it's also about how you have always viewed yourself and how that has been filled in.

My beloved, I keep his birth date and year to myself, is a 5. That number is associated with the life enjoyer who enthusiastically embraces life and is charismatic and sometimes restless. I also don't know if I would label him with this description first, but on the other hand: maybe it's fun to look at yourself and your role in life this way.

I would say: if you don't feel like the workday today, calculate your birth number. And maybe afterwards your sex coefficient.
