Blown away by this blowdry
Have your hair blown here and it will look great for 3 days

I often receive an invitation for a treatment of one thing or another. Usually, I say ‘no’ because I have no time, but this time I thought: why not? So off I went on Friday afternoon to Rob Peetoom on the Elandsgracht. My hair had been rained on three times and blown out of shape, and my schedule was empty, so I decided to completely indulge in a treatment and blowdry. Kim, cheerful, young, and with amazing hair, was already waiting for me. In the restroom, I washed my hands with Zielinski & Rozen (feel free to leave it to Rochelle Peetoom to find the coolest brands for their salons, did you know her New York salon in And Just Like That was used as a location? and then ordered a cup of that delicious Peetoom tea blend.
Kim looked at what my hair needed in her eyes, and I was allowed to convey my wish (shine please!) to her. She mixed the two ingredients to achieve that in her little hair laboratory, and then activated the massage button on my chair.
Kim perfectly found the balance between chatting and quietly enjoying the massage. Now I can really blow dry, I learned from the best, and I also have good tools in the form of the Dyson Airwrap and other aids, but the way my hair looked when I walked down the Elandsgracht towards my car, I just can't achieve that. And it looked great for three days, despite walks in the wind, Pilates classes, and a nighttime bike ride. So now I'm addicted. This will be my new treat, I fear, because blow drying is, after all, also a profession.
