We already knew it: the Parisians don't want anything to do with the hit series Emily in Paris. They find it a caricatural monstrosity. And as if it wasn't bad enough that their city and its inhabitants are portrayed as flat as a euro cent, the aftermath is even worse. Every day there is a line of thirty meters in front of Café de Flore other Parisian classics. You trip over tourists armed with designer bags and vlog cameras. Now we would think: just move one street over and discover a different nice bistro, but that's not how the French are. They cling to their icons, even if they have to struggle through a hundred influencers.
