More trouble for Harry and Meghan: now it's about the name of their child

Do you have a mother-in-law where you feel you can never, ever, ever do it right? Then you can start a support group with Meghan, because I’m starting to feel a bit sorry for her too. They named her second child Harry and her Lilibet. In doing so, she named Harry's grandmother Queen Elizabeth in a way that I find sweet.

Harry has always been fond of his grandmother, so it's not surprising that he wants to honor her in the form of a naming. Moreover, Kate and William have already been ‘outed’, so it's not as if they would somehow ‘steal’ 'their' name.

It's a cozy, little name and the story goes that Harry told his grandmother shortly after the birth to share this happy news. As far as Harry and Meghan knew, she was happy with it, but now another biographer has come forward claiming to know that the queen was not happy with this naming at all. In fact, people in the palace had never seen her so angry.

I honestly find it a bit sad. I really don't think you should use your own daughter to make a public statement or to make someone feel uncomfortable. I genuinely believe this was a way to try to mend the ties. Correction: to try to mend them. Because the fact that it hasn't worked out is unfortunately painfully clear again.
