This is how many sexual partners Dutch people have on average

Personally, I find it really pointless to find out someone's body count, but still, many people do consider it a thing. That's why a lot of research has been done on it, and not just in the Netherlands. The website TooTimid conducted a global study on the average number of sexual partners per country and created a top 46 from it. Sounds like a random number, but several countries shared a spot.

And yes, we are also on the list. In 33rd place, which we share with Portugal — they have the same average. And that is exactly seven; that’s how many bed partners the average resident of the Netherlands has. And to be completely honest, I found that quite low. My idea, which is not based on any fact or scientific research, is that the average in the Randstad is much higher. But even outside the Randstad, I find seven still quite on the low side — very curious about what others think about that.

The lowest spot went to India, where the average is three sexual partners. The highest spot is for the country with more than double what we have: in Turkey, they have an average of 14.5 bed partners. No idea which country I would have expected in first place, but I wouldn't have guessed Turkey so quickly. Number two goes to Australia (13.3 bed partners) and the podium is completed by New Zealand with 13.2.

Curious about the whole list? Here it comes.
