Now you might think: yeah, yeah, sure, another woman who never watches football and suddenly seems to know something after seeing two matches of the Dutch national team.
Here it comes. At one of the first matches of Orange this year – as in: maybe it was a friendly match – it was raining when they came onto the field. And you know that there are always children walking with the players. Then comes the national anthem, Wilhelmus van Nassauwe, and then you see all those players with those children, one by one. All in a training jacket, except for Gakpo. He had taken off his jacket and given it to the child standing in front of him. That’s when I became a fan.

But who is Liverpool player Cody in his private life? Let’s take a peek, because he has a really nice girlfriend. Noa van der Bij: active on social media, model, and now a mother of their first child. She studied management at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. She has been the footballer’s girlfriend since December 2020 and their little Samuël Seth Gakpo was born in April this year: a fresh Orange fan. And they look so happy together:
