We love snow: is more snow coming?

We are buried under a thick layer of white. And I love it. Few things make me as happy as snow.

How beautiful is the world? How much softer is the day all of a sudden? My children with a hat on. My work beautifully chic white. Everything is happy white. Give me many more days full of snow.

But how long will it stay? And is more snow coming? Yes, we have good news for all snow lovers (just like me). It will snow more today; around noon, there will be some snow showers in the east and north. And that will continue on Wednesday. During the night to Tuesday, it will freeze a few degrees and it can be slippery due to freezing. Snow will follow from the south on Wednesday, how far this will penetrate into our country is uncertain. Especially parts of North Brabant and Limburg have a good chance of a nice layer of fresh snow. It will stay everywhere because the temperatures are around freezing.

Thursday is not over yet. On Thursday, the sun will shine more often than on Wednesday. Throughout the day, the chance of winter showers from the North Sea will increase, in other words: more snow. In the whole country. Friday: even more winter showers on the schedule. Get those snow boots out of the closet, because you will need them. The whole week, certainly until the weekend, a white wonderland.

Enjoy it while you can, because from Sunday the wind will change and it will get warmer. Then all the fun will melt away and the weather will be, simply, wet and gray.
