This says something about your personality if you prefer to wear black leggings

Do you prefer to walk in black leggings? You're definitely not the only one. I practically live in them.

But hey, I also have a reason: first a pregnancy, then a postpartum body and after that the true motherhood. Then you find yourself playing on the ground more with toy cars and train tracks than strolling in a trendy lunch spot. So I just put on those black leggings again: they feel nice, I can move well in them, I can lift kids easily and play football excellently with my son. But yeah. It is a legging. A black one. Not really the latest fashion trend, so to speak.

What does it say about your psyche and personality if you like to wear black leggings? Even if you are not a mother? Is it a sign that you have given up on the fashion world? No, not at all. You are actually confident because you don’t necessarily have to go along with the latest fashion fads. You feel fine in your leggings: you wear them cool with an oversized sweater, a high chic boot and you’re good to go. Not sloppy at all. You are just being yourself and that suits you. You also feel more capable of handling whatever comes your way that day. That gives a good feeling.

But, according to fashion people, there is a turning point. You shouldn’t wear them to work. That goes just a bit too far. Doing your grocery shopping and having a coffee on your free Saturday in your legging outfit? Very trendy. Showing up at work in them? A sign of laziness. And no taste. And then you might get looked at a bit strangely. You should see them as fine clothing, but for your free time. Just like Uggs. Just like sweatpants. I love them, but I also find it the best feeling ever to come home in jeans after my workday and put on those leggings. Best feeling ever. And you absolutely don’t have to feel guilty about that from now on.
