Really good packing for your vacation? This is how you do it

If you're into light traveling and only need two shorts and three T-shirts, then I would say: move on to the next article. You won't need my help then. But if you want to vary, shine on the beach and in restaurants, then I might have some good tips for you.
1. Start well in advance
The anticipation is so delightful. I start a few weeks before departure to slowly think about what I would like to take with me. This way, you have time to create outfits and can also wash or take certain items to the dry cleaner. No stress is the best start to the vacation. And yes, you might also need to buy something to complete your wardrobe.
2. Check the temperature
It can sometimes be hard to imagine how warm it can be in another country. Check the weather app of your destination country every day so you can see how the temperature generally is during the day and how it is in the evening. In some areas, it cools down significantly and you might want to bring a light sweater, while in another destination it would be a waste of suitcase space to pack something warm.
3. Long live the wedge heel
Your destination is probably in Southern Europe. A cute coastal town with winding mountain paths leading to that one hidden gem. If you want to be a bit dressed up but don't want to be stuck between cobblestones every three steps with your ten-centimeter Sergio Rossi's, then the wedge heel is the solution. Elegant and comfortable.
4. Wear the most on the plane
All nice and well, that wedge heel, but it takes up a lot of space. So wear it on the plane, and you'll quickly save ten precious square centimeters. This also applies to that big belt and your hat. Everything you can wear on and around you should be worn on the plane.
5. Invest in nice sandals
Besides those wedge heels, they become the key pieces of your wardrobe. You'll wear them grocery shopping, to the beach, and out for lunch. That's why I always spend a good part of my budget on sandals. Added bonus: you take good care of them and they last a long time. My Balenciaga's are already going into their fourth season. And it's sale time now, so I would say: seize the opportunity.
6. Invest in a good swimsuit or nice bikini
Here you have it again with her swimsuit obsession, but on the beach, you literally have very little on your body. So make sure that what you wear is good, nice, and comfortable. So go ahead, score something good. Do you need a little push to go to the store? Here is my motivation to invest in a good bikini. And also here applies: SALE. A few more tips on how to keep your swimsuit or bikini in good condition for a long time.
Moreover, this year underwear is on trend, so with a bit of luck, you can also wear that top piece as a top.
7. Look for ‘versatile’ dresses
One that is your best friend with sandals when you go to the beach, and draped with a scarf around your shoulders and your hair towards the sky can accompany you to the opera.
8. Look at the destination itself
We are going this year (if everything works out, I still dare not hope and dream) via Bologna and Venice to Puglia. Call me a freak, but I can already look forward to looks that I can completely envision in Venice and will choose a more relaxed vibe in Puglia. Saint Tropez has a different fashion feel than Barcelona. Yes, sorry, professional deformation, just let me be.
Have a nice vacation, wherever you go.
