I have been experiencing this so often lately: I smell someone particularly delicious and the answer is always: “That’s my laundry perfume!”
In the meantime, I have also become a big consumer of laundry perfume and I have half the collection in the cupboard above the washing machine. Depending on the season, my mood, and the ‘nature of the laundry’, I choose the perfect laundry perfume. I give sheets a different scent, something more relaxing, than the hockey clothes, which I want to smell especially fresh. This way, each load has its own scent. Translating a perfume into a laundry perfume turned out to be no easy task.
“I am very demanding. It took some time to find the right balance. But the moment I tried the final version, I knew we had succeeded. Grapefruit and spicy basil at the top, with an addictive woody depth. A scent that works all year round for everyone.”
