Earle Meets World shows a completely different side of Alix Earle
Who Alix Earle is, we now know. Over the past few years, she has grown into one of TikTok's most recognizable faces. But since this week, the Earle family made the transition from our For You Page to Netflix. Last weekend, their show Earle Meets World premiered, a reality show consisting of eight episodes. Where we usually see her mainly in short clips preparing herself, sharing a quick story, or going out, in the series you get to see much more of her real life. What happened between Alix Earle and Alex Cooper?
Until the series, it was mainly an internet feud that everyone speculated about, but Earle Meets World gives Alix's side of the story for the first time. Three years ago, Alix signed with Unwell Network, the podcast network of Alex Cooper, the podcast host of Call Her Daddy. Last year, Alix's podcast Hot Mess was removed from Unwell, after which Alix said she couldn't talk about the details. After a few cryptic TikToks and reposts from Earle, Cooper accused her of fake drama, saying that Alix just needed to say what she had to say. She waited until the season finale of the show to do that.

The breakup
For almost three years, Alix was together with Braxton Berrios, an NFL player who played for the Miami Dolphins during their relationship. In December 2025, this relationship fell apart, and the series begins shortly after their breakup, when Alix drives with her best friend Sally to his house to pick up her things. You see her at various moments on her vulnerable side as she navigates the breakup. Millions of followers, a busy career, and a life full of glamour prove to be no cure for heartbreak. You see her doubt, make mistakes, and go through all the emotions that come with a breakup. She is surprisingly honest and open, and you also see the awkward conversations.
The Earle family is a story in itself
Alix's family plays a big role in the series. She has a large blended family, consisting of her mother Alisa, father TJ, her sister Ashtin, her stepmother Ashley, and half-sisters and brother. That family history is not exactly simple, as her father had a relationship with Ashley Dupré during his marriage to Alisa, who previously worked as an escort and became known for her involvement in the scandal surrounding former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. Later, Ashley and TJ married and had three children. Ashley is now simply part of the family, but you can tell that everyone has their own relationship with her, and sometimes emotions from the past come to the surface. And the dynamics within this family are, to say the least, special. They discuss things with each other that sometimes make you wonder if this is really a conversation at the dinner table.

You obviously tune into Earle Meets World for Alix, but before you know it, you're just as curious about Ashtin. They are truly each other's opposites, both in appearance and character. The sisters clearly adore each other, but Alix is much more extroverted while Ashtin is quieter and more outspoken in her own ideas. The style differences are also significant: Alix has a blonde bombshell vibe and goes for full glam, while Ashtin has more of an edgy, 90s-inspired model-off-duty vibe. It is precisely because of those differences that their moments together are fun to watch. Ashtin is one of the people Alix can truly rely on, and you see how naturally the sisters support each other when things get a bit tougher within the family.
Yes, Tom Brady also makes an appearance
Rumors had been circulating on social media for a while, but the speculations around Alix and Tom Brady are also actually addressed in the series. They were spotted together on New Year's Eve in St. Barths, and later during the Super Bowl weekend. There is no beating around the bush: friends even come to Alix to ask her directly if it's true. In short, plenty of reasons to watch. What surprised me the most was the honesty; almost no one in this show has a filter. This also makes the difficult moments more genuine, for example, after her mother receives a severe diagnosis. And it is precisely that openness that makes the series a bit more interesting than you might think. Whether there will be a second season is still uncertain, but for now, there is certainly enough to binge-watch the series.
