This is how Hailey Bieber eats her pizza and it is super healthy

Hailey Bieber really loves pizza, huh? Or well, we think so, because many of her favorite recipes have one thing in common: it's pizza. A kind of, then. Where we previously had drooling tendencies from her pizza toast, she has come up with something fun again: a healthy pizza. Yes, that really is possible. Her secret is not some superfood cheese that contains only two calories or a homemade tomato sauce with only three grams of sugar. It’s all about the crust, because that is a bit different from what you are used to.
Why the protein pizza á la Hailey Bieber is good for you
Pizza is always delicious. With mozzarella, with salami, with pineapple (or am I touching on something very controversial now? Oops). I can really enjoy a good pizza, but yes. It’s not really healthy. Such a round of dough is full of salt. And the toppings? They are usually not that great either. Fortunately, Hailey Bieber has found a solution: this pizza does not consist of water, yeast, oil, and salt. No, no. We are going for a protein-rich version: a cottage cheese crust. That may sound like something you’d rather eat after your visit to the gym. Because if there’s someone who doesn’t like cottage cheese, it’s me, but believe me: by the end of your cooking session, you really won’t notice that white stuff is hidden in your pizza at all.
The shopping list
For the pizza crust
– 120 grams of cottage cheese
– 160 ml of egg whites
– 85 grams of flour
– 22 grams of coconut flour
– 2 teaspoons of baking powder
– Half a teaspoon of salt
– 5 grams/1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
– 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
For the topping
– 160 ml of tomato sauce
– 120 grams of mozzarella
– Fresh basil

Here's how to make it
Step 1: preparations
Take the baking sheet out of the oven and line it with baking paper. Then preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Oh, and don’t expect dough that you first have to knead and then let rise for three hours. This will be ready sooner than you can finish an episode of Sex and the City watching.
Step 2: then comes the crust
You start by making the pizza crust. Take a large bowl. Add the cottage cheese, egg whites, flour, coconut flour, and Parmesan cheese. Mix everything well with a fork or spoon. When you have a lumpy dough, add the garlic powder, salt, oregano, and chili flakes. Mix this with the rest until the dough becomes a bit firmer. The cottage cheese keeps the dough lumpy, but it shouldn’t be liquid anymore.
Step 3: shape the pizza
Pour the batter onto the baking sheet and spread it out with your floured hands into a thin circle. Press it out evenly everywhere, so that it all bakes evenly and doesn’t burn on the whole left side because you made that a bit thicker. Unlike a regular pizza, this is not the time to start working with all sorts of toppings. Your crust goes into the oven first. Bake it for ten to twelve minutes in the oven.
Step 4: flip that thing
After about twelve minutes, carefully take the baking sheet out of the oven with oven mitts. Place it on coasters. Then gently pull the crust away from the baking paper. You can do this with your fingers or a spatula. Then carefully place it back on the baking sheet so it doesn’t tear in half.
Step 5: topping time
Now you can grab the toppings. Spread the tomato sauce over the crust and sprinkle the grated mozzarella on top. Cut the basil into smaller pieces and distribute them over the pizza. Want to add some more vegetables? Then you can cut up bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, or cherry tomatoes and add them.
Step 6: back in the oven one last time
Then the pizza can bake a bit more. Slide it back into the oven for about fifteen minutes. If you’re unsure whether the pizza is ready, you can look for bubbling mozzarella and crispy, golden-brown pizza edges. Take the baking sheet out and let the pizza cool for a moment before you eat it. First, take the time to admire the pizza. You would never say this is made from cottage cheese?
Look. This is how we enjoy healthy food too. This pizza with a truckload of protein is much healthier and tastier than a frozen pizza. Really.
