Daughter Nicole Kidman is following in her mother's footsteps
and is already on the cover of Vogue

If your mother Nicole Kidman and your father is country singer Keith Urban, there's a good chance you've wandered behind the scenes of a Hollywood movie as a child. And that has worked out quite well for Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. The 18-year-old daughter of this star couple is making a name for herself as a model and is already on the cover of the Vogue Germany.
But know that she doesn't just dream of designer dresses and sitting front row at fashion shows. Sunday has, just like her mother, ambitions in the film industry as well. And yes, her famous mother certainly has something to do with that.
Sunday Rose is on the cover of Vogue
Sunday Rose has had a very good few years. She started her modeling career at the age of sixteen and immediately got to check off a pretty big dream: walking and opening the show for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week. After that, she landed jobs for big names like Dior and Calvin Klein. And now she is on the cover of the November issue of the German Vogue. Not bad for someone who just turned eighteen.

Mom Nicole had to hold her back for a bit
That Sunday wanted to become a model, her mother knew early on. From the age of fourteen, she kept asking Nicole if she could start working in the fashion world. Nicole held off for a while and set a clear boundary: wait until you're sixteen. Quite sensible.
When Sunday celebrated her sweet sixteen, she could immediately get to work. She seemed to realize that her famous last name opens doors for her. In the Vogue interview, she says she is grateful for the opportunities she gets, but also that she wants to work hard and treat everyone on set with respect. So she doesn't want to be known just as ‘Nicole Kidman's daughter’, she remains quite humble.
Sunday dreams of Hollywood
And this was certainly not all, Sunday has more ambitions. She is not only interested in fashion, but also in making films. Especially directing makes her heart race. As a child, she regularly visited her mother on film sets and was fascinated by the monitor where the scenes were played.
Whether she will ever direct a film herself is still a question. First, she wants to finish high school and think about her next step. In Vogue, she mentions that she can imagine living as a filmmaker in Paris .
There is also studying to be done
Because although Sunday regularly stands among models and fashion designers, she is also just busy with her final year of high school. And that can sometimes be quite a puzzle when you travel to other cities for work. A show in Paris sounds fantastic, but that homework also needs to be done.
In her free time, Sunday enjoys hot yoga, plays piano, and goes to concerts with friends. She also loves going to the cinema alone and watching a movie without knowing in advance what it's about. No endless watching trailers or reading reviews, just buying a ticket and seeing what you get served.

Sunday borrows clothes from her mother
And then there's something that makes her a bit more recognizable: Sunday regularly borrows clothes from Nicole's closet. In fact, she says that about half of her own wardrobe consists of pieces from her mother. How cute is that?
They also love to appear together on the red carpet. During the Met Gala of 2026 Nicole wore a red look from Chanel and Sunday chose a pink Dior dress with flowers. Not matching mother-daughter outfits, but both completely in their element. And who knows, borrowing clothes at home might also lead to a discussion. Although I probably wouldn't complain too much if my mother was Nicole Kidman.
Will Sunday Rose become the new Nicole Kidman?
Whether Sunday ultimately chooses modeling, directing, or both, remains to be seen. For now, she has her hands full with her career and school. But with a Vogue cover, assignments for major fashion houses, and a clear interest in film, she's well on her way. Here she comes, world.
