What we know about the shooting at Rihanna's house

By

It was quite a shock yesterday for residents of Beverly Hills, and for the Rihanna Navy. Rihanna's house in Los Angeles was shot at on Sunday afternoon. Around seven bullets were reportedly fired at the villa where the singer lives with her husband A$AP Rocky and their three children.

Bullet through villa wall

Rihanna was at home at the time of the intense incident, but fortunately no one was injured. However, the violence left clear traces. A bullet reportedly penetrated a wall of the house, while other impacts left holes in the fence and in a camper that was parked in the driveway. The shots were said to have been fired from a car. A white Tesla, to be precise.

Suspect quickly apprehended

About half an hour after the shooting, the police managed to arrest a suspect. A woman in her thirties. She was apprehended in the parking lot of a shopping center, about twelve kilometers from Riri's house. In the suspect's car, the American police found a rifle, along with seven bullet casings. Notably, there was no resistance during the arrest.

Motive still unknown

Why the woman opened fire on Rihanna's house is still a mystery for now. No information has been released about a possible motive. Rihanna and A$AP have also remained silent so far.

For now, the most important thing seems to be: Rihanna and her family remained unharmed. But what exactly is behind the shooting incident still needs to be investigated.
