This is how you make the freckles look as natural as possible
In my opinion, the key here is: don't try too hard. Sounds strange, but if you distribute all the freckles perfectly, it quickly looks a bit too made up. And we definitely don't want that.
Start with a few small dots around your nose and slowly work your way to your cheeks. One slightly larger than the other, some close together and others a bit further apart. Just like real freckles, actually. And if after three dots you think: hmm, I don't see anything yet, wait a moment before adding ten more. You can always add more, but taking them away is a bit trickier.
And you can do even more with it
The fun thing about the Sophia Mae Freckle Pen is that you don't have to use it just for freckles. It can also be handy for your eyebrows. Do you have a small bald spot somewhere or do you want your eyebrows to look fuller? With small, short strokes, you can draw in some extra hairs. Don't draw a thick line, because then you'll be right back to the thick eyebrows of 2016. Just keep it subtle.
Don't make it too difficult
That might be my favorite part of this kind of product. You don't have to be a makeup artist to get started with this. Put a few dots, take a look in the mirror, and maybe add a little more. Done. And if you think it has become just a bit too much, just gently dab over it with your finger. Problem solved.
