Meet Talvin
We’ve known about this for a while and they’ve even been given a name, but since this week ‘Talvin’ aka Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are officially an item. The American singer confirmed her relationship with the British DJ like people do in 2015; by posting a picture on Instagram. The couple, that has been spotted holding hands since the beginning of April, are floating in a pool together on a giant inflatable swan – a celeb fave. The caption read: ‘Swan goals’. Taylor, who’s usual pace with boyfriends is up-tempo, is now blissfully happy and wants everyone to know.
‘Orange Is The New Black’ is back
The very reason a rainy day can be bliss, a night on the sofa pure pleasure; a fresh season of your TV-series. It’s like Christmas for your inner couch potato when Netflix decides to dump a new season. 14 Brand new 60-minute episodes for you to devour all at once. Yummy. This week it’s time for the third season of Orange Is The New Black, for whom Netflix opened the gate just that bit sooner than they had announced. A wave of happiness flooded the Internet. The coming days there will be humor, drama and lots of lesbo’s in orange suits on the menu. Bon appetit!
Almost human
This is what you call fascinating news. Papers and bloggers were in turmoil this week because Brad, Angelina and their offspring of six flew coach. The superstar family who is used to roads being blocked, museums being closed and having private jets ready for them took an Air France flight from Paris to Nice in economy class. After neatly getting in line at the gate, the Jolie-Pitts were even seen storing their own hand luggage in the overhead bin before taking their seats between ’the common people’. It was written that this has been a conscious move by the power couple in order to stay as down to earth as possible.
Playboy Mansion not as fun as you might think
Who didn’t (regularly) enjoy the tasty show The Girls of the Playboy Mansion between 2005 and 2010? A peek into the bizarre world of Hugh Hefner and his modern day harem. Holly, Bridget and Kendra took us everywhere. The Halloween parties, the grotto, the petting zoo, slip ‘n slides and movie night. Oh what fun they had. Or did they? This week, 5 years later, Holly Madison then Hef’s no.1 girl shed a whole new light on life at the mansion by launching a new book Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny. “The supposedly fairytale life she was leading in the mansion soon turned into a nightmare for her. Suppressing rules, manipulation and hoards of trashy bunnies.” (…) ” After losing her identity, self respect and hope for the future she considered killing herself in the bath”, read the promotional summaries.

We stumbled onto a new new online hype this week. Under #BellyButtonChallenge people share pictures showing they can touch their belly button from behind their back. This is supposedly the norm to determine if you’re too fat. No doubt you have been trying this yourself the past few seconds, but don’t feel bad. You just don’t have very flexible arms.
