HOME IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN
With a fitness DVD
Absolutely no desire to go out for a fitness session? I can understand that, I feel the same sometimes. I always turn on the 7 minutes workout app then. At least you’ve moved a bit, right? Even if it’s just for the feeling. Bodyrock.tv is also full of great workout videos. Or what do you think of my two friends Karena and Katrina from Tone It Up? If you just do their exercises every day, you’ll get a body like that. Apparently. There are also some really fun DVDs you can put on to sweat a bit in front of the screen.
Put on some leggings, a bodysuit over it, a sweatband around your head and you’re ready to go. Make space in your living room (this really wouldn’t work for me) and lay a mat on the floor. Good luck!
Insanity workout DVDs
It’s simple: for 8 weeks, 6 days a week and 45-60 minutes a day you follow this training and then you have a killer body. Seriously, during one workout you go all out and you must be completely exhausted. You don’t need anything for this, just a lot of space to really let loose and a towel would also be handy for the sweat. They are all different exercises that you have to repeat in quick succession. Good luck!
Zumba fitness
Look, this is something I am totally not suited for, but others might find it really fun. If you find hanging with weights and doing abs boring, you can also just dance for an hour of Zumba. Enjoy swinging to Latin American music. I like it, don’t get me wrong, but I just don’t think I’m very good at choreography AND salsa dancing. It does seem a bit like that.
Yoga
Roll out your mat, pretend you’re on a tropical beach and put on a yoga DVD. If you do this a few times, the exercises in a real yoga class will also be clearer and you can easily keep up with the group. Make yourself a cup of herbal tea, light some candles, dim the lights a bit, turn the heating up high and relax a bit with such a DVD. It’s absolutely no desire to go out for a fitness session? I can understand that, I feel the same sometimes. I always turn on the 7 minutes workout app then.
