Spring at Isabel Marant has a Dutch touch

These are uplifting moments on these rainy days when our favorite designers share images of the upcoming spring/summer collections with us. We were particularly pleased when we received the new campaign from Isabel Marant presented to us.

We see Russian top model Natasha Poly doing cartwheels as ‘tribal warrior meets urban girl’ dressed in an oversized jacket with a belt, a printed mini skirt, and Spartan leather sandals – a must-have for the upcoming season. “She is a warrior, but also leuke. It’s not meant to be serious,” the French designer tells WWD. The whole team was cheering Natasha on and making funny faces to get her into the right poses for the photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

And thus the campaign also has an unexpected Dutch touch. Top photographer Inez is of course Dutch proud and Natasha is married to a Dutchman (real estate millionaire Peter Bakker, with whom she has a daughter) and counts Nikkie Plessen and Renate Gerschtanowitz among her besties.
