Nathalie lives in Ibiza but travels a lot around the world as a producer. The last few weeks she has been spending a lot of time in the Netherlands organizing the Ibiza Xperience: a fair about everything related to the island. Well, we could definitely use that during these dreary days. Besides working really hard, Nathalie also has an enviable bag collection. And we want to know everything about that.

 How many (designer) bags do you have?

Phew, I think about 15. I get bored quickly with bags so I switch them up a lot and I use them all often.

 How did you get this beauty?

This bag is from World Family. That is one of the brands I really like, especially because I live in Ibiza Ibiza. I received this bag as a gift.

      Is there a difference between the bags you have in Ibiza and the bags you have in Amsterdam?

Yes, that's probably why I have so many. Strangely enough, you wouldn't quickly walk around here with an Ibiza bag, except in the summer. And you never feel quite at ease here with an Ibiza bag and clothing. The Ibiza style is a completely different kind of style that you wear. It's all a bit more hippie. The clothing has more fringes and trinkets. In the Netherlands, you tend to go for a more businesslike look.

 When you travel back and forth like that, do you take multiple bags with you?

I have living space in both places, so I have bags in both places. That way I can switch well.

 Would you make a splash in Ibiza with a Chanel bag?

In Ibiza, the motto is more ‘be yourself, then you're already cool enough’. Ibiza is not easily impressed by an expensive bag or a luxury watch. It can be if you go out, but it's a bit more low key there. The Chanel bags are of course more eye-catching, but they don't bat an eye at them in Ibiza.

 What does a bag do for a woman in your opinion?

That is very defining. You can tell a lot about a woman's mood by her bag. Whether she is in a work mood or in a going-out mood. I think many women often forget how important the bag is and walk around with the same bag for a hundred years. For me, it's more of a piece of jewelry that indicates what style you're wearing that day. It completes the whole.

 Are you a bit careful with the bag or do you sometimes throw it in the corner?

In general, I am quite rough with my bags, which is why I don't have many expensive bags. So I can throw and toss them around. But I am careful with this bag. I won't take it outside when it's raining heavily, I think that's a shame. The contents are chaotic, but I always have large bags. I am a huge workaholic and there are really only work items in it. It's all mixed up. This happens to be a bag that is quite straight, so it stays a bit organized. Always my laptop, my keys, wallet, a lot of work stuff, flyers, and business cards. And not unimportant and also quite funny:.

 And what about the contents? Are you a chaotic person or neatly organized?

 What do you always carry in your bag?

. One has Spain and the other has the Netherlands, because I travel a lot between those two countries and then I don't remember which phone is which. I am not a brand person, I have always had bags from Chick On A Mission. Also a bit of Ibiza style. I was really drawn to the name and they are also really cool bags.. Yes, it has to be very practical. I often have a small bag in my bag, so that if I need to eat after work or have a drink, I can take that small bag out.

 If a woman could only have one bag, which would it be?

I knew this question would come. Actually not, yes, I would like to have all the bags from World Family. I think they are all equally cool and different. Also to use for different purposes.

 Should a bag also be practical?
