these 7 celebs rocked their new haircut this year

We are crazy about lists and so at the end of the year you understand that we seize every opportunity to put a nice list on paper. Since I find myself in the beauty corner, I'll kick things off. We have lined up the seven most talked-about haircuts. Let's skip Miley Cyrus and Kylie Jenner for a moment, because otherwise the list would be filled with weekly transformations. No, we are focusing on the most beautiful people on earth with a new haircut.

Gigi Hadid

Let's start with the most talked-about one. Gigi Hadid who suddenly cut her incredibly long locks and frolicked around with a bob. The whole world was in an uproar. Until she posted the next day that it was all a one-time joke for a party. Too bad. It looked so beautiful. So really, Gigi, if you have no plans for the new year yet; scissors will make you even more stunning.

Naomi Campbell

For shoots, Naomi has tried quite a bit and the wings were flying off the shelves. But this year she really took the scissors to her hair and where it was briefly a short bob, it soon became a lob and that's what she has kept. Classic look.

Jennifer Lopez

I think Jennifer Lopez is the true example of a voluptuous woman with a good butt, decent breasts, and long curly hair. And even though she brought two kids into the world, that image remained. Until she went for the lob this year. And used the straightener a bit too enthusiastically. You hear it; I'm not sure if I'm really that enthusiastic. Jennifer, let it grow. You can do so much better.

Tyra Banks

‘Nice try, but maybe not’ is the conclusion we draw regarding this new haircut. Tyra has added a touch of pink to her brown locks, although that pink has turned out a bit wrong and it also looks like she has lost half of her hair. And actually, the rest just looks quite gray. Okay, we don't think it's very successful.

Kate Hudson

I think Kate Hudson it's really the most beautiful. Lovely boho, and put her in a horrendously ugly Christmas sweater and she just becomes even prettier. I don't know how she does it. So where she used to rock the perfect beach look including long hair and perfect curls, she now has a lob that is still incredibly stunning and not at all dull. She just does it.

Emma Watson

Don't ask me how, but she can really pull off anything. Where she had a pixie cut last year, it suddenly became a long bob and now she has cut it into a substantial bob again, definitely above her shoulders. Really, Emma, cut your hair more often. It gives you so much more allure.

Lauren Conrad

I will close the list with a red haircut. I previously wrote that red hair is the thing of 2015, but to now be trailing behind that trend in the last month of the year feels quite late. I also don't know if I really consider this a successful meta.
