5 times an upgrade for your cheap bouquet of flowers

This is how you turn any cheap bunch into fancy flowers

In Amsterdam, I have three regular spots where I know for sure that I can buy the coolest flowers . In any other village, I struggle with that, because you quickly end up with a Postcode Lottery bouquet, supermarket specimen, or hanging gas station bunch. Maybe there's also a price difference, but I understand that when you receive a bouquet, you have to make the best of it. You are not lost. With these 5 steps, you can also upgrade that supermarket bouquet to Bloomon bouquets that you would love to have in your home every day.

1. Remove all the greenery

Most bouquets are heavily filled with leaves and branches which makes the flowers actually disappear in that jungle of green. Remove that and let it only revolve around the flowers.

2. Divide it up

The flowers together may look very frumpy, but if you take them all apart, they can look much more luxurious. A loose flower is often much more special, and this way it really gets the attention.

3. The vase

You want your flowers to look their best, so they deserve a nice outfit. A clean vase is of course one thing, but also make sure that the vase has a nice shape.

4. Height difference

The coolest bouquets, field bouquets, are not all cut at the same height. It is actually very cool to have different heights in a bouquet. This makes it all a bit more playful. So pull the flowers apart, place them one by one in the vase, and determine how much you want and can cut off.

5. Mix it

Received multiple gas station gifts? Combine them with each other. Take all the bunches apart and make sure it becomes a nice mix. Often you then get unexpected combinations that are actually very nice. At least, if not everyone has been to the same gas station.
