The Wedding Hair Diaries
#1 Italian Classic
Be the perfect wedding guest
In the coming four weeks, we will prepare you completely for the wedding season. Four insane looks for future brides and four looks for the most important guest, so you can give the dress code even more allure. Because there's no need to turn slightly red when you see a dress code. Yes, okay, maybe it's a bit of a hassle to put the outfits together (although Lil you help you out ), but you don't have to worry about your hair at all. We have The Building for that.
Let's take the dress code Italian Chic. Gorgeous Kelly (click here for her insane look) is getting married soon in beautiful Puglia, and Frony is her best friend and witness. Youri from The Building has created a look that combines the classic of Puglia and the romance of the day, and he has also ensured that Frony is a worthy maid of honour. How do you create that look? I'll tell you, he will show you, and you can bet that you'll breeze through the dress code soon.
Step 1 – Prepping
Even as a bridesmaid, you want your hair to stay perfectly styled all day long. No hassle with sagging, no hassle with keeping the pins in place... You just want to not have to worry about anything. So prep your hair the right way. Make the hair a bit stiffer with a salt spray and blow-dry the product well to activate it.
Step 2 – Curls
With a curling iron, you make curls and secure them in bouclés. Bouclés are a kind of little rolls. Let all this cool down very well. Take your time for that cooling, because the longer they stay in, the nicer the curls will remain. You fix everything with hairspray.
Step 3 – Unraveling
When you take out the curls, they will all be perfect strands. Shake everything out well, it looks much nicer.
Step 4 – Determine the parting
Phew, that sounds quite wrong during a wedding. But no worries, we're talking about a parting in your hair. Look closely at the shape of the face and adjust the parting accordingly. Your hair will then fall very naturally and nicely.
Step 5 – Twisting
Take a strand and twist it. Let the end fall under the hair and secure it with a bobby pin.
Now you can definitely practice the most beautiful look yourself, but do you want to be sure that your hair is really good on the day itself? Then you should stop by The Building. They transformed these ladies into enchanting princesses, maids of honour, and the most gorgeous guests of the day. And then you're guaranteed the coolest look and literally have no worries on your mind.
