DOUBLE B, DOUBLE C OR DOUBLE D

This way you know what has been entrusted to you

I still remember very well that I had to write a beauty production about the latest trend in beauty land: BB cream. That was quite new and exciting for me. Meanwhile, we have come a bit further, because soon the CC creams followed and hop, the DD cream was right behind. So now we have a lot to choose from, but we actually have no idea what those things all do. I get it. We'll lay it all out for you.

BB cream

BB cream is often seen as foundation, but actually it is even more than that. A BB cream has quite a few more properties that are all in the same little cream. Nourishing ingredients for example, quite nice. Then you at least know that your skin continues to breathe and gets a radiant glow on its own. Extra nice is that a BB cream often also has a SPF attached to it, allowing you to carefree yet well-groomed press your face into the sun. So if you love a cream with a ton of nourishing ingredients, need all-day protection, and want to keep your perfect skin under control; BB cream is all yours.

”Redness will disappear and if you have a dull skin, the CC cream will polish it back to a glow”

CC cream

CC cream is the somewhat more technical sister of the BB cream. The main goal of this cream is to cover skin problems. Redness will disappear and if you have a dull skin, the CC cream will polish it back to a glow. These creams are often a bit lighter on the skin than a BB cream, but due to all those advanced formulas, it works perfectly to bring your skin into the right condition and also to tackle the battle with age and dark spots. And if you really have an advanced specimen in your hands, it also has a tint or SPF. Perfect if you have a difficult skin but want to step out with a radiant face.

DD cream

A DD cream is quite new. Some stores have had it on the shelves for a while, but the real ones are just now coming around the corner. They have a few years of research behind them. DD stands for Double Duty. Not just for your face, no, with a DD you can work on your whole body to cover things up or give it more shape.
