EMOTICONS THAT I MISS AND THAT NEED TO COME VERY SOON

I like to type with emoticons. It can make a text just a bit funnier, cheerier, or it's handy to use when you don't quite know what to say back. With every update of WhatsApp I hope for a fresh batch of little characters, but instead we are delighted with seventy new flags. Why? And what the heck with all those graphs, maps, and Chinese characters? I don't use them. Apple better climbs into the digital drawing pen soon, because I still have a bunch of emoticon ideas. That would make life a lot easier and also much more fun.

• Avocado. I just need an avocado.
• Butterfly. Best friend L: “For when you are very much in love. There is a caterpillar, but that's not enough.”
• A drunk little character. Too many drunk.
• A little character that looks yellowish-green and is about to vomit.
• A healthy smoothie. Come on, you know me.
• Josselin really wants a diva emoticon. One with one eyebrow raised. “Are you serious?” or: “I don't really know what to think of this.” One like that.
• Josselin is also really craving a flamingo.
• The shoes (and clothes too) are really from 1993, they could use a makeover.
• We need a CROISSANT.
• So you have that running little character, which I use very often. Like: “AAAAAH, who I just ran into” or: “Ooooooh, I need to get out of here very quickly.” I would just love it if the little character ran the other way. Now it runs back, I would like to run away.
