PINK CHEEKS

Always a healthy blush in five steps

A while back I the blush completely rediscovered. I used to go out with extremely pink cheeks (and matching bob and doll eyes), but I left that behind in my incredibly well-styled teenage years (thin eyebrows and silver eyeshadow) But I have rediscovered the doll phase. Because blush does me good. Always having a healthy color on the face doesn't hurt anyone anyway. And how easy it is!

1. A little application

Do you really want a nice intense, but also very natural effect? Sounds very dubious, but just think of those doll cheeks: pink, of course. In a natural way, but still present. It can be done. Make the blush a little moist or mix it with a cream. Then it becomes intense in color, but softer to apply and you can blend it beautifully on the skin. Oh, and handy: it will also give a little extra glow, so you can skip the glitter.

2. Rainbow

Throughout the year, the color of your skin changes and you can definitely adjust your makeup a bit. In winter, you probably have a slightly lighter foundation than in summer. The same goes for your blush. It's also quite fun to play with two colors. Then you can keep the transition very nice and subtle to the skin, and they won't be two dots that you apply on the apples of your cheeks.

”Great solution if you have a bitchy face naturally”

3. A bit of shine please

Do you want your cheeks to shine even more? Then add a touch of shine. Just along the cheekbones is very nice, because it looks like you are walking around with a huge smile all day. Great solution if you have a bitchy face naturally. With a highlighter it's not that difficult. And a little dot on the apples of your cheek will only enhance the color.

4. Mix & match

Choose a blush that matches your lips, your nails, and your clothing. Of course, that doesn't mean you have to go through life like a clown, but it does enhance the color. Actually, you only become a clown if you start using all different colors, because that just distracts. Choosing the right blush color? I'll give you a few tricks here.

5. Top het af

I understand if you say you haven't heard about it often, but a blush topper is quite a thing now. It's a blush in different colors, with which you can add more variety to the color. It often has a bit of shine or a hint of metallic, making the color look even better and giving you more flexibility in your look. Sounds ingenious, right? Well, apply it neatly and you'll see the difference.
