AMSTERDAM FASHION WEEK REPORT

Day 1

So you thought that after the Look of The Year party we could just lounge on the couch today in our comfy clothes? Nope girlfriend, on some days you just have to keep it glamorous. It’s time for another week on the fashion IV drip: Amsterdam Fashion Week.

You know, twice a year there’s a week where you hear an unusually high amount of high heels from fashion girls clicking around the Westergas area. And today is one of those days. Despite the freezing cold (what’s up with that all of a sudden?), Simone and I dressed up in our finest monkey suits to capture all the FashionWeek ins & outs for you. We were backstage to sniff around behind the scenes, to spot the latest makeup trends from MAC (more on that later) and of course to capture the models, designers, trends (and okay okay, peacocks and hysteria) for you. Because I tell you: you’ll be amazed during fashion week. Let me take you through our highlights of day 1:

Shall we catch up again tomorrow? So cozy! Now we’re diving into our bed in the super nice W, the hotel we’ve transformed into Amayzine Fashion Headquarters for the coming days. Croissants in bed tomorrow morning? I say: check!
